I received the Accuquilt Tumbler die and decided to work on busting some scraps and cut up fat quarters. I cut them very quickly with my accuquilt which I totally love. I used the pattern that came with the die.
I think the next one I will make will have borders. They have you quilt it and then trim off the odd shapes on the sides. I just like the way a border finishes a quilt.
I have a bunch of small pieces of 1930's kid type fabrics all cut and ready to go on a few small quilts for our hospital. These are so much fun and so quick to put together.
This quilt will be donated to our local Hospice through my guild. I did a leafy vine for the quilting. The teardrop and scallop takes a long time and alot of thread.

very pretty Eileen. I have not even made a backing for my tumbler quilt yet much less quilted it.
Oh I think it's lovely! I just finished the top for a tumbler quilt as well yesterday LOL!
I don't have the large die but did one with the smaller die and added 1/2 tumbler pieces to the ends of each row. I did mine all in same print and then a 2" top and bottom border to frame the top.
yours is beautiful! great donation project- cw
Great job using up all your small pieces. Looks like you're having lots of fun with your Accuquilt cutter :)

Creative work Eileen. I like your perfection and want to make a piece just like this one. You have arranged each piece of the fabric beautifully and attach them perfectly. Before this I never saw such a great creation. You know very well that how to use Scrappy pieces.
